Behind BIRDIE BIRDY is Alberte Laursen Rothenborg, fashion student at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts School of Design.
The design is a sustainable experiment of up cycling waste into unique, handmade jewellery. The timeless designs are created from acrylic scraps of architectural models. The material dictates and challenges the shapes and surfaces of the designs. Tarnished surfaces and saw cuts are used to make each piece unique. All jewellery is handmade and created in limited editions.
